Call for Authors for SIBA Trade Show 2011, Charleston, South Carolina – Sep. 17-19 The Southern Independent Booksellers Alliance invites exhibiting publishers to submit authors for consideration for special events to be held on Saturday through Monday,September 17-19, 2011. These programs will be held at the SIBA Trade Show in Charleston, SC. It is imperative that you have registered to exhibit at the SIBA Trade Show before authors can be considered. #SIBA10 Presents Books@SIBA: the Online Guide to #RepPicks and Other Titles Featured at SIBA’s Fall 2010 Trade Show The Southern Independent Booksellers Alliance (SIBA) has partnered with Above the Treeline, provider of the book industry’s digital catalog Edelweiss, to provide Books@SIBA, a digital companion to their upcoming fall 2010 trade show taking place in Daytona, Florida on September 24 – 26. Books@SIBA will provide attendees, interested booksellers, bloggers, and other book industry professionals with an online resource to browse, share, tag, and order titles being featured at this year’s show. In addition, SIBA will be introducing a Rep Picks program to allow publishers a forum for sharing and promoting the highlights from their fall and winter season lists. Participation in the Rep Picks program costs $100 for up to five titles and $25 for each additional title. Titles in the Rep Picks program will be featured prominently in Books@SIBA, and will be part of a tweetup at SIBA under the hashtag #reppicks. The hashtag for the trade show generally will be #siba10.
